I often find myself in boardrooms, commercial buildings, and hotels.  As I study the art on those walls, I imagine how the room might feel if a painting of mine were in its place.  I now paint large canvases that I believe are not simply decorative, but that try to capture the mind, drawing the viewer into a deeper experience.
